【Course Objectives】

To understand basic concepts of International Finance.
In particular,
1. What is foreign exchange and why is it important?
2. Describe the market for foreign exchange
3. Describe the role of US dollar as an international currency
4. Describe the international monetary system from historical perspective

【Course Contents】

We will study the basic concept of foreign exchange. For example, we will study the role of interbank market and customer market, international payment system, corporate foreign exchange risk management and Cryptocurrency.
