【Course Objectives】

This lecture aims to provide students with a basic knowledge of corporate finance theory. Specifically, students learn about financing, investment, and payout from a deficit entity's standpoint.

【Course Contents】

Finance is an academic discipline that deals with the decision-making between entities when a surplus entity provides funds to a deficit entity. The field that deals with securities investment decisions from a surplus entity's standpoint is called security investment theory. The field that deals with financing, investment, and payout from a deficit entity's standpoint is called corporate finance theory. This lecture focus on corporate finance theory. Each lecture cover essential topics on corporate finance theory, and students deepen their knowledge of corporate finance theory by taking quizzes.
