This lecture aims to provide students with a basic knowledge of corporate finance theory. Specifically, students learn about financing, investment, and payout from a deficit entity's standpoint.
Finance is an academic discipline that deals with the decision-making between entities when a surplus entity provides funds to a deficit entity. The field that deals with securities investment decisions from a surplus entity's standpoint is called security investment theory. The field that deals with financing, investment, and payout from a deficit entity's standpoint is called corporate finance theory. This lecture focus on corporate finance theory. Each lecture cover essential topics on corporate finance theory, and students deepen their knowledge of corporate finance theory by taking quizzes.

本講義の目標は、企業金融論に関する基礎的な知識を習得することにあります。具体的には、赤字主体としての企業の立場から資金調達や投資、利益の分配などの意思決定を学びます。
This lecture aims to provide students with a basic knowledge of corporate finance theory. Specifically, students learn about financing, investment, and payout from a deficit entity's standpoint.
ファイナンスとは、黒字主体が赤字主体に対して資金を提供する際の、各主体間の意思決定を扱う学問領域です。とりわけ、黒字主体の立場から証券投資に関する意思決定を扱う分野を証券投資論（インベストメント）と呼び、赤字主体としての企業の立場から資金調達や投資、利益の分配などの意思決定を扱う分野を企業金融論（コーポレート・ファイナンス）と呼びます。本講義では、企業金融論を扱います。各回の講義では、企業金融論に関する重要なトピックを取り上げ、課題に取り組むことによって、企業金融論に関する知識を深めていきます。
