The objective of this course is to understand management accounting systems that are useful to formulate and execute strategy and profit plans. An additional objective is to understand how new management accounting systems are advocated to fit some contingency factors such as environment, strategy and organization structure.
Management accounting systems are useful for managers to make decision and evaluate their subordinates’ performance. In this course, students will understand the calculation structure, the historical background, the function, the requirements for realizing those functions, the problems with their systems, and the impact on human psychology of their systems.

適切な戦略や利益計画の策定、また、それらの効果的な達成のために有用な管理会計手法について理解する。企業をとりまく環境の変化、戦略、組織構造などに対応し、どのように新たな会計手法が提唱されてきたのかについても学ぶ。

経営管理者の意思決定や業績管理に役立つ会計手法について､その計算構造の確認とともに､その手法の生成の歴史的背景､果たすべき機能とそれを実現するための要件､手法が有する問題点、人間心理への影響などの論点についても説明を行う｡
Management accounting systems are useful for managers to make decision and evaluate their subordinates’ performance.
