【Course Objectives】

To acquire the following skills necessary for understanding overseas economies and cultures and performing in international arenas.
1. The ability to discuss the economy and management in English.
2. Knowledge of the economies and management in North America and the Pacific Rim.
3. Knowledge of multicultural societies and the ability to adapt to them and take action within them.

【Course Contents】

After conducting preparatory study of North American economies, management, and cultures, etc., while in Japan (this university), students will study English conversation at the University of Alberta in Canada, practice giving business presentations for the Alberta School of Business, and attend economics and business management related classes in English. Students will also take tours of local companies and engage in cultural exchanges with local students.
