This course is a practical introduction to theories in corporate finance.
This course presents basic theories from corporate finance, regarding markets and pricing, and sees how well they explain the real world.

The study material for this course will be referenced in the lecture slides as weblinks. They will all be freely available internet resources or articles. |
Each class will be divided into 2 parts. The first half will be a lecture presentation using powerpoint slides. The second half will be group discussions, with 4 or 5 students per group. A member of each group may be required to present the group's findings.
It would be helpful if students bring along an internet accessible device (tablet, laptop) for use in group discussion.
