【Course Objectives】

The objective of this course is to acquire the ability to find out, research, present, and discuss the questions on agriculture and food issue with socio-economic approach.

【Course Contents】

Agriculture is an important industry in terms of food security, and plays an important role in terms of social, cultural and environmental aspects, but it also faces many challenges. The main theme of this year is to continue to think about 2030 and 2050 goals for sustainable agriculture and food systems.
In the spring semester, students acquire basic knowledge by reading basic literature, and organize collective research project.
In the fall semester, students will write research reports and papers. And, through debates, students acquire high-level skills such as presentation and discussion.
