To learn what accounting calculations are used for decision making and performance evaluations. To understand how to design management accounting systems for attaining corporations' objectives and goals..
Students will read texts to learn about the accounting calculations that should be used to decide how to set the prices for products and services provided by organizations, what accounting calculation should be made to make decisions about capital investment and how to evaluate performance to motivate managers and employees to accomplish the organization’s objectives. At the group research presentation (sometimes held with other universities) students will present the results of what they deeply learned about analyzing the financial statements and strategy of organizations and about management accounting methods.

組織の提供する製品やサービスの価格の決定、設備投資を行うためにどのような会計計算を行うのか、管理者や従業員の組織の目的に合った行動を促進するにはどのような業績情報を与えるべきか、といった組織の経営管理者のための会計を学ぶ。

組織の提供する製品・サービスの価格決定、設備投資などの意思決定のためにどのような会計計算をすべきか、組織の目的のために管理者・従業員を動機づけるためにどのような業績評価をすべきか、といったことをテキストの輪読で学ぶ。グループ研究では、企業分析、管理会計手法について深く学んだ成果を発表する。
Students will read texts to learn about the accounting calculations that should be used to decide how to set the prices for products and services provided by organizations, what accounting calculation should be made to make decisions about capital investment and how to evaluate performance to motivate managers and employees to accomplish the organization’s objectives. グループ研究報告に向けて、4名程度のチームを編成する。チームによるテーマ決め、各チーム・メンバーで学んだことを1つの報告としてまとめる作業は、授業時間以外に行う。また、輪読テキストの内容については、ゼミ内での質疑応答を行うので、報告者以外も予復習をしっかり行うこと。ゼミやグループ研究の前提知識を身につけるために、管理会計論1・2の受講を必須とする。

管理会計の知識や考え方は、企業経営以外の生活でも役に立ちます(部活動・サークルの運営、人の動機づけなど)。なお、主に土日に開催する年3回程度のインゼミ、ゼミ合宿の出席も必須とします。チームでのインゼミ準備も責任を持って取り組むこと。自身が一人で考えたり実行できることには限りがあるので、是非お互い意見を出し合う楽しさ、良い研究成果に結びつける醍醐味を味わって下さい。4月時点で簿記3級程度の知識は必須とします。
企業見学等を実施する場合、先方からの求めによって氏名などの個人情報を提供することがあります。
