The objective of this course is for students to acquire the basic knowledge and skills necessary for conducting career counseling (career guidance) in schools and the workplace.
The objectives to be achieved are as follows.
・Understand the positioning of occupational (career) guidance and career education.
・Be able to organize and provide knowledge regarding occupations, such as occupational information and occupation classifications.
・Be able to explain the theories regarding career consulting (career counseling).
・Be able to properly use the tools (assessments).
・Be able to hold discussions based on cases through group work and role playing.
・To use data about employment trends and problems to get an overview of the situation and to deepen understanding of the positioning of occupational (career) guidance and career education.
・To use practical work to learn the methods for using the tools (assessments) necessary for grasping career consulting representative theory and individual characteristics.
・To organize the knowledge regarding occupations, such as occupational information and occupation classifications, and to use practical work to learn the basic theory and methods of career counseling.
・To use role playing to think about the psychology of the person asking for advice and also learn the importance of listening.

教育機関（主として高校・大学），職場におけるキャリアコンサルティング＝キャリア指導（職業指導／キャリア・ガイダンス）を行うために必要な基礎知識やスキルの習得を目標としています。
到達目標は以下の通り。
・職業（進路）指導・キャリア教育の位置付け理解
・職業情報，職業分類等，職業に関わる知識を整理する
・キャリアコンサルティング（キャリアカウンセリング）の諸理論理解
・【自己理解】促進のためのアセスメントツールについての理解
・グループワークやロールプレイングを通じて，事例に基づいた討議ができる
・以上を通じて自分自身のキャリア（ありたい自分像）について再構築する

・雇用動向と「働く」に関する諸課題についてデータを用いて概観し，職業（進路）指導・キャリア教育の位置づけについて理解を深める。
・キャリアコンサルティングの代表的理論と個人特性の把握に必要なツール（アセスメント）の活用方法について実践（体感）ワークを通じて習得する。
・職業情報，職業分類等，職業に関わる知識を整理し，キャリアカウンセリングに関する基本理論と方法について実践（体感）ワークを通じて習得する。
・ロールプレイングを通じて，相談者心理について体験し，【傾聴力】の重要性について学ぶ。

★授業回によってはワークシート／発表資料作成などを課すことがあるため，以下は必須事項とします。
①授業参加に事前準備（情報収集・整理,インタビュー,発表資料作成など）と事後学習（不足情報の収集・整理，ワークシートの完成など）を行うこと
※目安時間としては，毎回1時間程度必要であると理解しておいてください。
②チーム単位で課題に取り組む際は, メンバー全員が役割を担うこと（授業時間外での打ち合わせ，準備が生じることがあります）。

【履修定員】：30名
【履修対象】：2, 3, 4年生
・本科目は教育職員養成課程科目ですが，教職を志望しない一般学生（他学部生含む）が履修する科目としても位置付けています。
・定員を超える場合は，経済学部の学生・教職「商業」免許取得を目指す学生を優先します。
★授業ガイダンス（履修登録前）について★
2023年8月下旬or9月初旬に授業ガイダンス（日程は）を開催予定です（Zoomにて実施）。
これまでの授業内容や履修生の様子を資料等で確認できる機会となりますので, 履修を検討している学生は可能な限り参加してください。詳細は立教時間並びに経済学部キャリア教育サイト「STORY」でご案内します。（7月中下旬を予定）。
◆事前レポートによる履修者選抜について◆
授業特性により，事前レポートによる受講者選抜を行います。以下に従い，期限内に事前レポートを提出してください。
【事前レポート課題テーマ】：「本科目履修の志望理由と授業を通じて学びたいこと（または、どのような力を伸ばしたいか）」について, word形式（600字以上800字程度）で提出が必要となります。
【提出期間/提出先】：詳細はR Guide・立教時間で行います。
【履修許可者の発表】：詳細はR Guide・立教時間で行います。
※教職「商業」免許取得のため，履修が必修の場合は,事前レポート課題提出時に,その旨を申し出てください。（申し出を忘れたまま提出し，後から申し出があっても受け付けないのでご注意ください。）
