Following “Introduction to Computer Science 2 and Exercises” and “Electronic Computer 3 and 4,” students learn somewhat more applicable algorithms and numerical calculation methods through programming in C or Python language.
This class is paired with “Exercises in Mathematical Information Theory 1.” “Mathematical Information Theory 1” contains lectures focused on theory, and in “Exercises in Mathematical Information Theory 1” students conduct practice exercises related to the lecture contents, from programming to report creation. It is assumed that students have just about finished learning the syntax of C or Python language. Use programming and mathematical theory to learn more sophisticated algorithms and create more advanced programs. Contents include linear algebra, interpolation, numerical integration and mathematical cryptography. Software used in “Exercises in Mathematical Information Theory 1” centers on C or Python language, but depending on the problem, other languages or formula manipulation software are used.

「計算機入門２・同演習」，「計算機３・４」に引き続き，Ｃ言語またはPython言語のプログラミングを通して，やや応用的なアルゴリズムや数値計算の方法を学ぶ。

「情報数理１演習」とペアになる授業である。「情報数理１」では理論を中心とした講義を行い，「情報数理１演習」では講義内容に関連した演習課題についてプログラミングからレポート作成までを行う。Ｃ言語またはPython言語どちらかの文法についてはほぼ習得済みとする。プログラミング作成と数学的理論を利用して，より高度なアルゴリズムの学習やプログラムの作成を行う。内容は，線形代数，補間法，数値積分，数理暗号である。「情報数理１演習」で利用するソフトウェアはＣ言語とPython言語が中心になるが，課題に応じて他の言語、あるいは数式処理ソフトも利用する。
