与えられたテーマについて，最新の研究に触れつつ，理論的あるいは実験的な研究を行う。
To perform research in theoretical physics or in experimental physics while learning the latest topics of the given theme.
教員の指導の下で,与えられたテーマについて理論的あるいは実験的な研究を行う。これは物理学科における教育の総合仕上げである。研究とは,未知の領域に踏み込むのであり,教員は指導者であると同時に共同研究者でもあるので,何よりも諸君が主体的に取り組むことが重要である。卒業研究でも世界最前線の研究であることも稀ではない。
これまでに講義・演習・実験を通じて学んできた知識や技術を生かし,実りある研究となることを期待する。
