・Students will meet various people through ethnographic fieldwork, understand their lived experiences and their social contexts. Furthermore, students will reexamine their lives.
・Students are expected to develop basic skills of writing graduate thesis.
・Students will conduct fieldwork and write a report. Students will be divided into small groups and select research themes and fields based on their own interest. Students are expected to develop basic skills for writing graduate thesis.
・In this seminar, we will especially focus on methodology of the life story research. It is important to build relationships with others, and listen to their own lives with sincerity. Through dialogues with others, we can also understand ourselves and the society we live.

・フィールドワークを通して様々な人々と出会い、かれらの生きられた経験とその社会的背景を理解するとともに、自分自身の生（life）を見つめ直す。
・卒業論文執筆の基礎を固める。

・次年度の卒業論文を視野に入れつつ、フィールドワークの基本を体験的に学ぶ。テーマ・フィールドは履修者の問題関心に沿って探求し、グループに分かれて調査を実施、年度末に報告書を完成させる。
・とくにライフストーリー研究の手法・視点に重きを置く。調査相手を単なる情報提供者として扱うのではなく、その人のライフ（人生、暮らし、人柄、生き方…）に迫ることが大切である。それは自分自身のライフ、および自らが生きている社会のあり方への洞察を深めることにつながる。

単位取得は重要・必要ですが、それだけに留まらずゼミに参加し、調査を行うことについて自分なりの意味・意義を掴んでほしいと思います。なお、授業後も議論・作業を行う場合がありますので、なるべく用事を入れないようにしてください。また、長期休暇中に合宿を行う予定です（素晴らしい景色や面白い人たちと出会いましょう）。
