For students who do not belongs to seminars, this course is intended to give a broad understanding of the various areas of sociology. This course allows for the development of insight about society appropriate for a sociology major.
Students select two of the five subjects presented at the beginning of the course, and are awarded credits based on completion of papers for each subject and by passing the oral exams. While preparing papers, students should consult with the professor on the each subject. Students should check the schedule in the R Guide and should keep the deadlines strictly.

演習に所属しない者が，社会学の諸領域を幅広く習得することにより，社会学士として実社会に出るにふさわしい見識を獲得することを目指す。
For students who do not belongs to seminars, this course is intended to give a broad understanding of the various areas of sociology. This course allows for the development of insight about society appropriate for a sociology major.
冒頭で提示された5課題のうち2つを選択して，それぞれ指定された課題レポートを作成し，口頭試問に合格することで，単位が認定される。学科の課題担当教員に相談しながら，課題レポートの作成を進める。スケジュール等についてはR Guideで適宜確認し，締切日は厳守すること。

別途提示される課題表を見た上で，2つの課題について自由にテーマを設定し，最終的にレポートとして提出すること。課題担当教員と相談して計画を立て，計画的に時間を使い，必要な準備を行うことが重要である。

全授業回のうち、７回以下のオンライン授業を実施する。オンライン実施回については授業支援システム（Canvas LMS、Blackboard等）で指示する。
