This course has three key learning objectives.
1. Demonstrating familiarity with major environmental issues.
2. Applying the concept of sustainability to better understand an environmental issue and policy.
3. To evaluate the advantages and limitations of environmental policy today.
This course considers new trends in environmental policy aimed at "Decarbonization" and the problems and issues they bring. In particular, this course will focus on policy domains such as climate change, renewable energy, forestry, and policy integration, where consensus building is difficult today. The challenge is to obtain new perspectives on the future of environmental problems and solutions.

現代の環境政策をめぐって生じている問題について、「持続可能性」の概念の理解に基づいて、具体的な事例を用いて説明できるようになること。環境政策の内容や、政策の立案・決定・実施過程の考察を通して、環境問題の現代的な課題や将来的な争点について理解を深めること。
This course has three key learning objectives.

この講義では、「持続可能性」をキーワードに、「脱炭素」を目指す現代の環境政策の新たな動向とそれがもたらす問題や争点について考える。とくにこの講義では、気候変動対策、エネルギー転換、第一次産業、政策統合など、環境政策のなかでも、今日、合意や議論の着地点を探り当てることが難しくなっている政策領域に焦点をあてて、今後の環境問題のゆくえと環境政策の争点について新たな展望を得ることを課題とする。
