Students will read specialized literatures to acquire basic knowledge and thoughts about media sociology, while acquiring seminar methodology. Furthermore, they will be asked for connecting the purport of literature to actual problems in our daily lifes.
In the first half, students will read the department-shared textbook. and in the second half use some papers about sociology of music.
Attention: student does NOT need to have the special skill or knowledge about music.

メディア社会学に関する専門文献の読解を通じて基礎的な素養を習得するとともに、文献の内容を整理・要約・発表する力を身につける。また文献の内容を自分の目の前にある実際的な問題系へと展開的に結び付けていく力を養う。

授業の前半では共通教材を、後半では担当者が専門とする音楽社会学の文献を取り上げる（音楽的な技能・知識は特に必要としない）。
