【Course Objectives】

In order to protect human lives from natural disasters, it is necessary to use disaster information. The aims of this course are to understand the theory and practice of disaster information.

【Course Contents】

This course deals with the following case studies: warning of Tsunami, flood, landslide, volcanic disaster. Students will discuss on smartphone applications for disaster information media, radio drama made by residents as a risk communication, Digital archive of disaster records. Students must submit two small paper on this course.
