The purpose is course is to acquire knowledge about how to collect and analyze data in terms of writing a thesis.
This course provides an opportunity to consider hobbyist activities so called serious leisure from the viewpoint of media and communication.
Students will attend tutorials in addition to class meetings.
We examine data collected by students, which means they are required to conduct a research review and data collection in advance for each class.

データ収集および論文構成・執筆に関する指導。

専門演習に引き続き、シリアス・レジャーなどとも呼ばれる形で一定の知識や技術を要する、スポーツや工芸・芸能などの趣味的な文化活動について，メディアとコミュニケーションの観点から考えることを目的としている。
春学期と同様に指定したミーティングへの参加に加えて、個別指導を行なう。
履修者自身が収集したデータの検討を中心としたかたちで指導を進める。そのため、各人による参考文献活用と調査活動の自主的な遂行が授業の基盤となる。

秋期休業以降の指定された期間に下書き提出およびそれに戻づく面談が成立しなかった場合、評価上大きな減点となる場合があるので、特に注意すること。
