We learn the basic ideas, concepts, and methods of sociology from examining what sociology has asked so far and understand its characteristics.
What kind of discipline is sociology? What is the subject of the sociological question, and what has been uniquely examined and understood within sociology? In this course, we examine various concepts and propositions that sociology has developed so far and unique methods of sociological thinking.

社会学の基本的な考え方や概念・方法を，社会学がこれまでなにを問うてきたかを検討することから学び，その特徴を理解する。
We learn the basic ideas, concepts, and methods of sociology from examining what sociology has asked so far and understand its characteristics.
社会学とはどのような学問なのだろうか。それはなにを問いの対象とし，他の学問とは異なるどのようなことを明らかにしてきたのだろう。この講義では，社会学がこれまで展開してきたさまざまな概念や命題について検討し，社会学がもつ独自の思考法を身につけていく。
