【Course Objectives】

Students will acquire research experience in university and learn its basics.

【Course Contents】

Learning in university involves establishing questions, advancing researches based on these questions, and summarize their findings. This seminar uses Project Based Learning (PBL) to allow students to experience these processes. Students will choose subjects they are interested in, establish their hypotheses, collect data, derive their answers, and compile them in final papers. Among these, students will acquire basic ability to research (learn), including creating summary, reporting, discussing, and following rules in academic writing.
Before enrolling, students should understand that seminar-format class has more requirements than lecture-format class. Seminar-format class emphasizes attendance and active participation.
Assignment volume and class advancement differ from professor to professor.
