【Course Objectives】

By the end of the course you should:
1. Be able to explain the relationship between contemporary culture and society, using basic theoretical terms and concepts.
2. Understand the roles of contemporary culture in society today.
3. Aspire to further explore contemporary culture

【Course Contents】

This course provides an opportunity to examine various practices of contemporary culture and their relationship with social factors such as the spaces, politics, media, and economy surrounding them.
The lecture will examine how contemporary culture is constituted in society and what social, economic, and political roles it plays in today's changing social structures. This course will also examine the social, economic, and political roles of contemporary culture.
In addition, practical projects and the reviewing of films will be introduced to encourage students to deepen their understanding. Through these activities, you should gain an understanding of the relationship between contemporary culture and society, and expand your thinking on how society can practically act as a bearer of contemporary culture.
This lecture is also an introductory course for future research in the field of contemporary culture.
