【Course Objectives】

What is development? How can we foster international collaboration? This course aims to answer those questions though learning about theory and practice of economic, political and social development in the world.

【Course Contents】

This course is intended as an introductory survey of the political, social, and economic development. By the end of the course, students will be familiar with the history and current main issues concerning international development. We will also examine the range of explanations and theories that have been developed to solve various global issues such as poverty, denial of human rights, and climate change.
