1. Learn basic knowledge of fieldwork as one of the methods of social research.
2. Discover and consider questions and findings in the field. Report findings.
3. Learn about both the fun and difficulties of fieldwork.
In this class, after learning the basics of fieldwork and researching the literature on the theme, students will visit a field related to ""medical care"" and conduct a survey.
Students make their own observations and reports based on the realizations and questions they have obtained through fieldwork.
The views and experiences differ depending on the position of the medical professional, patient, family member, or support person. Students are expected to imagine what is behind the experience.
For reference information, in FY2022, we visited the Rikkyo University Health Center, the Rikkyo University Student Counseling Center, and a beauty salon that provides "Appearance Support," and conducted a tour of the facilities and an interview survey.

本授業では、フィールドワークの基礎を学び、「医療」に関するフィールドに足を運び、調査を実施する。フィールドワークを通じて得た気づきや問いをもとに、問いを立てて議論を展開し、報告を行う。
「医療」と一言に言っても、医療者、患者、家族、サポートする人など立場によって見える景色や経験する内容は異なる。その経験が生み出される背景に何があるのか、想像力を働かせてほしい。
今年度の授業の実習先については受講者の関心を踏まえて、相談の上で決める。
参考情報として2022年度は、立教大学保健室、立教大学学生相談所、抗がん剤や放射線治療・脱毛症にともなう外見変化へのケア「アピアランスサポート」を行う美容室を訪問し、施設の見学とインタビュー調査を実施した。
