The purpose of this social survey course is to acquire the skills of statistical research analysis and report writing, making full use of the social research methods and statistical research analysis techniques.
In the social research exercise, we will acquire the following process practically.
Setting of research theme, Question, Hypothesis, Creating questionnaire, Extracting sample, Distribute questionnaires, Collect questionnaires, Input data (editing, coding, cleaning), Collect and analyze data, Writing a report.

社会調査法や統計調査分析の技法を駆使し、統計調査分析と、それをもとにした報告書論文の執筆を実践的に習得することが、社会調査演習の目的である。
The purpose of this social survey course is to acquire the skills of statistical research analysis and report writing, making full use of the social research methods and statistical research analysis techniques.
社会調査演習では、具体的に以下の過程を実践的に習得する。
・調査テーマの設定 ・問いをたてる ・仮説をたてる ・調査票を作成する ・標本を抽出する
・調査票を配布する ・調査票を回収する ・データ入力をおこなう（エディティング、コーディング、クリーニング） ・データの集計と分析をおこなう ・報告書を執筆する。

・ 次回の内容を予習すること。
・ 調査設計、調査票の作成、データ分析、報告書の執筆にわたるすべての過程において、授業時間外の作業が必要になる。
・ データ分析でもちいる重回帰分析やその他多変量解析の統計分析手法については、履修者各自が授業時間外に学習し、正しく使えるように準備しておく必要がある。
・ 長期間にわたり取り組むことになる研究テーマに対しモチベーションを維持するため、各自があつかうリサーチクエスチョンや仮説にかんして日頃からアンテナをはり、情報を集めておくこと。
