【授業の目標 / Course Objectives】

大学で学ぶための基礎となる論理的思考、情報リテラシーを身につけ、コミュニケーション力、情報受信・発信能力、問題解決能力を向上させる。

Students will master the logical thinking and information literacy that form the foundation of university-level study, and improve their abilities to communicate, receive and originate information, and solve problems.

【授業の内容 / Course Contents】

「協同学習」の方法論を用い、論理的思考スキル、言語スキル、対人関係スキルを学ぶとともに、タイム・マネジメントを習得する。また、議論や発表のスキルとともに、ノン・バーバルコミュニケーションへの意識も高める。「協同学習」は課題テクストを、授業内で解説する予習の仕方に従って各自が予習して授業に臨む。授業は少人数でのグループディスカッションと発表で構成する。また、レポートの書き方について、解説とトレーニングを行う。

The cooperative learning method will be used to help students acquire logical thinking skills, language skills and interpersonal skills as well as time management skills. Students will also improve their discussion and presentation skills, and will further their understanding of nonverbal communication. Instructors will explain in class how students should prepare for cooperative learning exercises, and students will follow those instructions and read assignment texts in advance of classes.
Class activities will consist of small groups of students participating in discussions and presentations. Instructors will also explain and lead exercises on how to write reports.
