The aim is for students to learn basic Chinese vocabulary and develop the ability to communicate at a level equivalent to HSK 1 by the end of the spring semester.
Starting with basic Chinese pronunciation, students will gradually learn basic grammar and vocabulary. Next, applied language practice will be carried out, using actual conversations and sentences, to cover some key grammatical points. In addition to using textbooks, handouts will be provided to improve vocabulary and language proficiency through information exchange, translation and essay writing activities. This course thus aims at consolidating students’ knowledge of basic Chinese and work toward acquiring the ability to actively express oneself by improving vocabulary and grammatical skill.

春学期終了時には、HSK1級のレベルに相当する基礎的な中国語の語彙力と表現力を身につけることを目標とする。

中国語の発音基礎から始め、段階的に基本的な文法や語彙を習得していく。文法の要点を確認しながら、実際の会話や文章への応用練習を行う。また、テキストに加えて、授業時に配布されるプリントを用い、置き換え・翻訳・作文などの練習を通じ、語彙の習得と熟練度を上げる。中国語の基礎を固め、語彙力と文法力の向上によって、能動的に表現できることを目指す。
