・Students will be able to understand peacebuilding approaches from above and peacebuilding approaches to conflict areas.
・Students will be able to consider the issues of armed conflict and peacebuilding from the perspective of the people who live in them.
This course will introduce the examples of armed conflicts and peacebuilding and examine them in concrete terms. Students will learn the importance of considering perspectives of people and communities living in conflict affected areas. Through these activities, students will deepen their understanding of peacebuilding led from above by the international community, and peacebuilding approaches initiated from below by local communities and people.

・紛争影響地域に対する上からの平和構築のアプローチと下からの平和構築のアプローチについて理解できるようになる。
・武力紛争や平和構築の課題を、それを生きる人びとの視点から考察できるようになる。

本講義では、武力紛争と平和構築の事例を紹介し、具体的に考察します。考察にあたっては、武力 紛争を生きる人びとや地域社会の視点を学ぶことが重要であることを学びます。これらを通じて、国際社会等が主導する上からの平和構築、地域社会や市民社会が主導する下からの平和構築のアプローチについての理解を深めます。授業は、参加型で行います。
