Students will learn and gain the ability to explain the basics of how to effectively teach Japanese as a foreign language in light of the various properties of Japanese as a foreign language.
Students will learn effective approaches to considering Japanese as a foreign language, not as their own native language. Students will master the minimum knowledge required of Japanese language teachers and analyze specific teaching methods and course materials.

外国語としての日本語の諸特性をふまえ，外国語としての日本語を効果的に教えることについての基礎を理解し，説明することができる。
Students will learn and gain the ability to explain the basics of how to effectively teach Japanese as a foreign language in light of the various properties of Japanese as a foreign language.
「国語」ではなく，「外国語としての日本語」の効果的な考え方について考えていく。日本語教師になるために最低限必要な資質を理解し、知識を身につけるとともに，具体的な教授法分析，教材分析も行う。
