Students read Janet Carsten's *After Kinship* (2004) about kinship, house, gender, reproductive technology, substances and body, deepen their academic interests. Write reports and practice academic writing techniques.

この授業では、文献講読とディスカッションを通じて現代文化人類学の研究潮流を知り、学生個人の問題関心をその中に位置付ける。その上で卒業研究のテーマを設定し、実際に調査と分析を行う。
Students relate their interests to academic debates of cultural anthropology today, choose a topic and practice research and analysis.
親族、家、ジェンダー、生殖医療、サブスタンス、身体に関するJanet Carstenの著作 *After Kinship* を講読しながら自身の関心を深める。一章ごとに読み進め、関連分野に関するレポートを執筆する。その中でアカデミック・ライティングの方法を確認し、卒業論文のためのデータ分析に役立てる。
