The goal of this seminar is for students to determine themes for Senior Research and Thesis by connecting their awareness of various issues to academic themes, and classes are conducted to help students master the fundamental elements (research methods and the like) required to make that determination.
This course presents students who intend to conduct research on music (and those who are considering it) with opportunities to bring their interests and issues into lively discussions with others. Presentations on individual themes will be the main focus; however, a unified theme may be decided depending on the makeup of the class. The aim of putting students through the work of communicating their everyday thoughts to other people is to give students opportunities to face themselves and their subjects from new perspectives and further their consideration.

各自の問題意識を学術的なテーマと結びつけることで，｢卒業研究｣のテーマを設定することを目標とし，そのために必要な基礎的な事項（研究方法など）を身につける。

音楽を対象とした研究を志す者（ないしはそれに準ずる者）がそれぞれの関心や問題を持ち寄り，活発な意見交換の場とする。各自のテーマに基づく発表を中心とし，顔ぶれによっては全体の統一テーマを設定する。日ごろ頭の中で考えている事柄を他者に伝えるという作業を通して，自己と対象に新たに対峙し，考察を深める機会としたい。
This course presents students who intend to conduct research on music (and those who are considering it) with opportunities to bring their interests and issues into lively discussions with others.
