Students should be able to develop a research proposal based on a chosen topic, collect and organize data and studies from existing research, and work towards creating the deliverables for their graduation research project.
Students will mainly learn the fundamental skills needed to complete a graduation research project on a topic related to the cultures and societies of French-speaking areas (France, Quebec, North Africa, etc.).
They will also learn how to link their own awareness of the issues to a graduation research project theme, and then how to go from choosing to completing a research project through data collection, investigation and production phases.

自ら設定したテーマについて研究計画を立て，先行研究の調査やデータの収集・整理など，卒業研究の成果物の作成を進めていくことができる｡

主としてフランス語圏（フランス，ケベック，北アフリカなど）の文化と社会に関連したテーマで卒業研究を作成するための基礎的事項を学習する。
各自の問題意識をどのように卒業研究のテーマに結び付けていくか，テーマ決定後から完成までどのようにデータ収集や調査，制作に取り組めばよいのかなどを学ぶ。
