In this course the participants learn the outline of the criminal law in general and the types of criminal acts which are defined in the Japanese penal code.
In this course the outline of the criminal law in general will be showed, which is important to understand what kind of conditions must be fulfilled for the punishment. After that the participants will learn various types of criminal acts which are defined in the Japanese penal code.

刑法全体についての大まかなものの見方を学びつつ、刑法各論における個別の犯罪成立要件やその背後にある発想などを理解できるようになること。
In this course the participants learn the outline of the criminal law in general and the types of criminal acts which are defined in the Japanese penal code.
本科目では、刑法全体についての大まかな見取り図を示すとともに、刑法各論における個別の犯罪について、体系的に、かつ具体的に学ぶことができるような授業を行う。例えば、殺人罪といった犯罪一つをとっても、「人」とは何か、堕胎罪で保護されている「胎児」は「人」ではないのか、といった非常に難しい問題が潜んでいる。こういった様々な問題について、判例をベースに検討を加えていく。
