This class aims to develop your basic understanding of the processes for problem-solving: negotiation, mediation, and ODR (Online Dispute Resolution).
Dispute Resolution is the study and practice of resolving disputes. Although the range of possible dispute handling processes is quite broad, the field of dispute resolution is primarily focused on alternative dispute resolution processes, such as negotiation, mediation, and arbitration. In this class, you will have the opportunity to learn different approaches to solving problems.

Negotiation Basics（EX095, EX096）及び法政外国語演習（EX716, EX679）は、交渉やメディエーションのロールプレイを中心とした演習（コミュニケーションの練習）であるのに対し、Dispute Resolutionでは紛争解決の各プロセスの概要を学び、その全体像を掴んでいただくことを目的としています（一部ロールプレイも行いますがケース数が少なくなります）。
