【Course Objectives】

The objective of this course is to understand the structure of the Antimonopoly Act while cultivating the legal ability to think critically and an understanding of economics through studying the Antimonopoly Act.

【Course Contents】

The classes will explain the Antimonopoly Act regulations with a focus on patterns of market power creation, maintenance, and strengthening which become problematic.
After explaining the purpose and basic concept of the Antimonopoly Act, we will cover cartel regulations, regulations concerning restrictions on unfair transactions, private monopoly regulations, and trade association regulations in that order.
It is desirable to study other legal fields such as civil law in pararell, since the Antimonopoly Act is based on knowledge of them.
