【Course Objectives】

The goal of this course is to comprehend the various types of political institutions and the impact they have on the interactions between political actors.

【Course Contents】

In order to fully comprehend the political process, it is essential to understand the types of rules that are employed to achieve coordination among political actors.

At the beginning of each class, we will pose questions such as, "What is the impact of electoral reforms on campaign practices?", "If contributions from companies are prohibited, how will the policy positions of political parties change?", and "Are there any distinctions between a president and a prime minister?" and endeavor to discover the answers by utilizing the knowledge on the specifics and impact of the various political institutions.

Please note that the topics pertaining to the objectives and underlying principles of behavior exhibited by political actors will be covered in "Political Process 1," which will be held during the autumn semester.
