One of the industries where the largest numbers of graduates from the College of Law and Politics, Rikkyo University find employment is the financial and insurance industries. However, it is not easy to imagine what “finance” is and what roles are played by different financial institutions. This course will give lectures about basics of legal rules related to finance, while providing students who are interested in the financial industry with guidance on what academic studies they should pursue in the College of Law and Politics over the coming four years, in order for them to make specific career plans. In addition, many guest speakers will be invited, who will give easy-to-understand lectures about the current situation of the financial industry and what they actually do in their jobs.
