【Course Objectives】

We are currently facing a range of the 21st century challenges: pandemic, climate change, technological threats, the global economy and inequality, the unrest of liberal democracy, the 'fragmentation' of society, etc. This seminar aims to acquaint students with the basic concepts and debates in international politics by reading the literature that sketches these issues.
Students will also develop their academic skills such as presentation, debate and report writing through participation in the course.

【Course Contents】

In this seminar, we will read introductory literature on international politics and discuss each topic. The presenter will summarise the contents of the texts. The rest will submit a comment paper in advance. If necessary, students will be divided into small groups for discussion in the class.
