The purpose of this course is for students to be able to engage in discussion based on accurate knowledge and deep understanding gained by examining court precedents that cover the major arguments of Labor Law and Social Security Law and their systems so that they can depict their own vision for specific issues.
To handle workplace issues, students must first pin down the fundamental knowledge and understand the theoretical framework of the dispute resolution system by studying politics and court precedents on Labor Law and Social Security Law.
Students elect a Seminar Organizer and Vice Organizer from among them, and they mainly manage and coordinate the course. Because the focus is on student-led reports and debates based on group work, this course is expected to require considerable time to prepare outside the classroom. In addition, the final report requires an overall summary.
Depending on circumstances, work may be required on weekends or in the evening. Students who understand these requirements and can participate proactively and independently are welcome to enroll. Note: The following plan is an example and changes as necessary according to student requests and the state of progress.

労働法と社会保障法に関する政策や裁判例を検討することを通じて，正確な知識と深い理解にもとづく議論ができるようになり，具体的な課題に対して自分なりの展望が描けるようになること。

労働法と社会保障法に関する政策や裁判例の検討を通じて、労働法や社会保障法に関する理論的な枠組みを理解してもらいます。
受講生の中からゼミ長を選び、受講生中心にゼミの運営が進むことを期待します。グループ作業による学生主体の報告・討論が中心となるため，授業外の準備を含めた，相当の時間を要する見込みです。場合によっては，週末や夕刻の時間帯にかかる作業もあります。受講生の希望等に応じて，ゲストスピーカーの招へいや，合宿，施設見学等も予定しています。また，1年を通じて自分の関心のあるテーマをマイテーマとして模索・設定し，研究していただきます。最後にマイテーマレポートとして総括してもらいます。
これらのことを理解して，積極的かつ主体的に参加できる人の参加を歓迎します。
なお，以下の授業計画は一例であり，受講生の関心や希望により，随時変更します。

憲法、行政法、民法、労働法、社会保障法を履修済みか、並行して履修予定であることが望ましいです。インターンシップなど、労働現場の体験を強く推奨します。
