Students will learn the concept of civil law by examining recent important judicial precedents.The content of the course is designed to be useful not only for those who aim to become legal professionals in the future, but also for those who are thinking of working for public officials, companies, or corporations.
In each session, we will read an important precedent in civil law and discuss its contents. Specifically, the presenter will give a report and the contents will be discussed. Students will be able to cultivate their presentation skills through their own reports, as well as their communication skills by listening to, thinking about, and discussing the reports of others.

民法の重要判例およびケース問題（司法試験の問題を含む）を検討することにより、民法の考え方を学ぶ。将来、法曹を目指す者だけではなく、公務員や企業・会社に勤務することを考えている者に有用な内容を考えている。

民法の重要判例およびケース問題の内容を検討する。具体的には、報告者が報告をし、その内容を議論したり、裁判形式で、裁判官・原告・被告の３つのグループに分かれ、事例問題を議論する。受講生は、自らの報告および発言によって、プレゼンテーション能力を培うとともに、他人の報告を聴いて考え、議論することにより、コミュニケーション能力を養うことが可能となる。
In each session, we will read an important precedent in civil law and discuss its contents. Specifically, the presenter will give a report and the contents will be discussed. Students will be able to cultivate their presentation skills through their own reports, as well as their communication skills by listening to, thinking about, and discussing the reports of others.
