Students in this seminar will spend one year carefully reading the work titled, "The Origins of Totalitarianism" (Part 3) by Hannah Arendt, who was one of the most influential political thinkers of the twentieth century.
Students will conduct a careful reading of Hannah Arendt’s "The Origins of Totalitarianism"(Part 3)
(Japanese translation, MIsuzu shobou, 2017).
They will also read "Seidoku Arendt's "The Origins of Totalitarianism" (Masahiko Makino, Kodansha, 2015).

20世紀を代表する政治思想家の一人であるハンナ・アーレントの著作、『全体主義の起原』の第三部と関連文献を一年かけて精読する。
Students in this seminar will spend one year carefully reading the work titled, "The Origins of Totalitarianism" (Part 3) by Hannah Arendt, who was one of the most influential political thinkers of the twentieth century.
ハンナ・アーレント『全体主義の起原3------全体主義（新版）』（大久保和郎・大島かおり訳、みすず書房、2017年）を精読する。
その前提として、『精読アレント『全体主義の起源』』（牧野雅彦著、講談社メチエ、2015年）を講読する。
Students will conduct a careful reading of Hannah Arendt’s "The Origins of Totalitarianism"(Part 3)
