The purpose of this class is to deepen students' understanding of the law of criminal procedure and to acquire the skills for gathering materials, understanding their contents accurately, communicating their own opinions clearly, and engaging in constructive discussions.
In this class, we will examine important theoretical issues related to the law of criminal procedure. Reporters are required to research their assigned theme and prepare a resume summarizing the results of their research. After the presentation, all students discuss the contents of the report.

刑事訴訟法の理解を深めるとともに，資料を集めてその内容を正確に理解し，自分の意見を明確に伝え，建設的な議論をする能力を身につける。

この演習では，刑事訴訟法に関する重要な理論的問題について検討します。各回の報告者は，担当するテーマについて調査し，調査結果をまとめたレジュメを作成します。報告後には，報告内容について，履修者全員で議論します。

報告者は，自分が担当するテーマについて，図書館で文献を収集し調査することになります。また，教員が主要検討文献（論文や判例など）を指定することもあります。いずれにしても，報告に臨むに当たっては，授業時間外のある程度の時間を調査・検討に割かなければならなくなることをよく理解しておいてください。
報告者以外の履修者も，授業での議論に積極的に参加できるよう，参考文献やレジュメに事前に目を通しておく必要があります。
「刑事訴訟法」の授業で扱う事項についての理解が必要になりますので，原則として，同授業を履修済みであることが求められます。また，関連する事項について，自ら意欲をもって勉強を進める必要があります。

＜選考方法＞
採用人数：15名程度
配当年次：３・４年次 ※原則として，既に「刑事訴訟法」を履修し単位を取得済みであること
選考方法：レポート
①題目：刑事訴訟法に興味を持った理由（具体的なトピックや論点，判例など）と，本演習への参加を志望する理由を，具体的に述べてください。「刑事訴訟法」の単位を取得していない場合には，これまでに刑事訴訟法の学習をどのように進めてきたかや，本演習の内外でどのように学習を進めていきたいかについて記述してください。
②字数：1000字以上
