【Course Objectives】

(1) To cultivate the ability to think critically in conceiving better laws, systems, and the ideal state of society through debate
(2) To acquire the latest knowledge concerning business and law

【Course Contents】

This class will raise topics concerning business and law and engage in debates about these topics. The topics will be selected according to the interests of the students, but they may be wide-ranging and include not only Civil Law, which is the instructor's specialization. During some sessions, students will hold debates on their own and at other times participate in class as judges. Therefore, students will need a significant amount of time to gather in groups, collect documents, etc. to prepare for class. In addition, students are also scheduled to participate in exchanges with other universities through debates. Therefore, this seminar is open to students who are able to devote a sufficient amount of time.
Furthermore, please note that students who wish to take this seminar will be interviewed. If you wish to be interviewed, please apply by March 20th. Interview applications are being accepted by email (fujisawa@rikkyo.ac.jp).
