By reading literature on the German constitution and politics, students develop basic reading comprehension skills in German, while also thinking about the differences between Japan and Germany, including the rule of law, democracy, sovereignty of the people, and the history.

This course requires each student to read the text in advance, and a predetermined student translates the assignment. The instructor explains the contents and grammar, and all participants discuss the contents. The readings are not long, 1-2 pages each, but the aim is to develop the ability to understand sentences accurately based on elementary grammar.

ドイツの憲法や政治に関する文献を講読し、ドイツ語の基本的読解力を養成するとともに、法治主義、民主主義、国民主権や歴史も含めた日独の違いについても考える。

各自、テキストを事前に読んできてもらい、予め決められた受講生が分担部分について訳す。内容や文法について授業担当者が解説するとともに、参加者全員で内容について議論を行う。読む分量は、毎回１～2頁と多くはないが、初級文法をベースに文章を正確に理解する能力の養成を目指す。

①題目：志望動機と今までのドイツ語学習歴（本学でドイツ語を履修していた場合は、そのことについても記載すること）について

履修に当たっては、ドイツ語の初級文法について一通り学習していることを要する。なお、内容等について質問があるときは、授業担当者まで問い合わせること（メールで事前連絡すること）。
