Students will find out how economics deals with familiar issues. We will cover a wide range from traditional theory to the latest theories so that students will become familiar with economics.
Does garbage have a value? Why does unemployment occur? Can economics solve environmental problems? How does economics deal with human psychology? What happens to society if you act in your own interests alone? Are statistics reliable?
How does economics understand and solve a variety of contemporary issues? We explain in an easy-to-understand manner so that even students who are not familiar with economics can understand it.

身近な問題を経済学がどのように扱うのかを知る。伝統的な理論から最新の理論まで幅広く扱い、経済学を身近なものとしてとらえることができるようにする。
Students will find out how economics deals with familiar issues. We will cover a wide range from traditional theory to the latest theories so that students will become familiar with economics.
ごみに価格はあるのか？失業はどうして生じるのか？経済学で環境問題は解決できるのか？経済学は人間の心理をどう扱うのか？自分の利益だけを考えて行動すると、社会はどうなるのか？統計は信用できるのか？
さまざまな現代の課題を経済学はどのように理解し、解決しようとしているのか？経済学になじみのない学生にもわかるように、わかりやすく解説します。
