Students will learn the capitalist economy and its various problems from the perspective of Marxian economics.
The current capitalist economy faces a variety of problems, including widening economic disparities, increasing poverty, worsening labor problems, progressive environmental destruction, and economic instability due to financialization. In addition, as the "long-term stagnation" of economies in developed countries continues, an increasing number of researchers are talking about the new possibilities of socialism and communism. This lecture will examine the various problems facing the modern capitalist economy from the perspective of Karl Marx's "Capital," a classic work in political economy and consider the possibilities of post-capitalism.

資本主義経済とその諸問題についてマルクス経済学の観点から学ぶ。
Students will learn the capitalist economy and its various problems from the perspective of Marxian economics.
経済格差の拡大や貧困の増大、労働問題の深刻化、環境破壊の進行、金融化による経済の不安定化など、現在の資本主義経済は様々な問題を抱えています。また、先進国における経済の「長期停滞」が続くなか、社会主義や共産主義の新たな可能性について語る研究者も増えてきています。本講義では、現代の資本主義経済が抱える諸問題を、社会経済学の古典的名著であるカール・マルクス『資本論』の観点から検討し、ポスト資本主義の可能性について考えてみたいと思います。
