This course aims to acquire a basic knowledge of the origins and current status of Japanese law and the judicial system. In addition, it aims at acquiring a viewpoint to consider how such laws function in society.

日本の法や司法制度の成り立ちや現状について，基本的な知識を獲得する。また，そのような法が社会のなかでどのような機能を果たしているかについて考察する視点の獲得を目指す。
