【Course Objectives】

Students will be able to describe the human conditions facing contemporary society as a social problem and will be able to understand various clinical issues from the perspective of understanding of people.

【Course Contents】

This course focuses on social issues that are essential to understand human beings living in modern society. We aim to understand how human beings are established in relationships, and yet cannot give back to those relationships. We will take up topics related to social problems, such as crime and violence, and while learning from the struggles and efforts of those who suffer and those who support them, we will explore what the problems are and how solutions can be sought, from the perspective of mutual actions with society. In this way, we will try to learn how to tackle and confront specific social problems. If possible, we would like to have guest speakers in some sessions (therefore, the course content may be subject to change).
