Students will learn fundamentals of financial economics, such as various kinds of financial assets, primary benefits for consumers/investors from trading those assets, and financial markets where those assets are traded. Students will also learn basics of financial statement analysis through making a group presentation on an assigned topic of a textbook in every class.
The instructor will give a brief overview of a topic in every class, then discuss the topic with students, and occasionally give an assignment for which students should work and complete in a group. Students are also expected to make a group presentation for an assigned topic in a textbook on financial statement analysis in every class.

金融経済の初学者が金融論、より具体的には金融資産、金融取引や金融市場に関する基礎的な知識を習得することを目標とします。また、学生による文献の輪読・プレゼンテーションを通じて、企業の財務諸表の初歩的な意味を理解できるような知識の習得も目指します。

担当教員が中心となって基礎的な金融論の各トピックを授業内で紹介していく予定です。また、毎回ゼミ生グループによる財務諸表分析の文献輪読・プレゼンテーション、および課題を与えることを通じて、学習内容の理解を深めていきます。
