【Course Objectives】

Students will learn not only the prevailing theories and latest issues in Japan regarding Taiwan studies, but also the commonly accepted theories and latest arguments in Taiwan. The aim is for students to understand the relationships between Taiwan and its neighboring countries, and between Taiwan and the world in various fields through learning from many perspectives.

【Course Contents】

In this course, we will invite researchers of Taiwan studies who are active at the forefront as part-time lecturers and guest speakers, and offer classes on Taiwan studies. After presenting the achievements and prospects of Taiwan studies, we will see the world through Taiwanese economic, political, social, cultural, and historical aspects.
