As the population ages further in the super-aging society, there is social emphasis on anti-aging in Japan. The course aims to gain deeper scientific understanding on anti-aging by learning the cause and structure of aging and age-related diseases and studying the latest research.
1. Introduces the basics of aging as a biological phenomenon.
2. Lecture on the cause and mechanism of age-related diseases and consider responses.
3. Introduce the current anti-aging research and consider future research topics.

超高齢社会をむかえてなお高齢化率が増加し続けている日本では、社会的にもアンチエイジングが重要視されている。本講義では老化とそれに伴う疾病の原因や仕組みを学び、最新の研究に触れることで、アンチエイジングに対する科学的な理解を深めることを目標とする。

1.生命現象としての老化の基礎を紹介する。
2.加齢に伴う疾病の原因と機序を講義し、その対策を考察する。
3.現在のアンチエイジング研究の紹介し、今後の研究課題を検討する。
