【Course Objectives】

Students will learn about the role of chemistry in phenomena that occur in the natural world, substances and materials used in daily life, and environmental and energy problems. Students will also create an intellectual foundation to think about the future of the earth and human life while feeling close to nature.

【Course Contents】

First, we will outline the important issues in discussing chemistry, namely, atomic structure, the periodic table, chemical bonds, and chemical reactions. After that, students will learn the relationships between the earth/human life and chemistry on the subject of the global environment such as air and water, energy such as fossil fuels, familiar substances and materials such as plastic, and biological substances related to life and health.
