Through understanding the Sermon on the Mount, recorded in chapters 5-7 of the Gospel According to Matthew, students will deepen their understanding of Christian ideas while getting a feel for their significance in the present day.
Setting aside some lectures for Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, we will analyze it from a historical perspective and thoroughly explain its religious context while examining its hermeneutical significance.

『マタイによる福音書』５-７章に保存された「山上の説教」を解釈することで、キリスト教思想への理解を深めるとともに、その現代的な意味を探る。
Through understanding the Sermon on the Mount, recorded in chapters 5-7 of the Gospel According to Matthew, students will deepen their understanding of Christian ideas while getting a feel for their significance in the present day.
イエスの山上の説教をいくつかの単元に区切って、それぞれを伝承史的に分析し、宗教史的な背景を踏まえつつ釈義した上で、その意味内容に関する解釈学的な考察を行う。
